Published: 26. 9. 2025 In category: News All news Changes to the Rules on the Operation of the Support Centre – Important Deadlines for Switching Support Types The changes pertain to Article 10, which regulates the conditions for switching the type of support within the support scheme for renewable energy sources and high-efficiency cogeneration. The amendments to the Rules on the Operation of the Support Centre were published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No. 73/2025, dated 26 September 2025. They refer to Article 10, which regulates the conditions for switching the type of support within the support scheme for renewable energy sources (RES) and high-efficiency cogeneration (CHP), and now read as follows: (1) The participant submits a written termination of the contract by post to the Support Centre, provided that all obligations to the Support Centre have been fulfilled. (2) The termination of the contract becomes effective at the beginning of the calendar year following the year in which the termination was received by the Support Centre, if received by the end of October. If received later, it becomes effective at the beginning of the calendar year following the calendar year in which the termination would have become effective had it been received on time. Key changes: Switching support will only be possible if the intention is submitted by 31 October 2025. After this date, i.e. from 1 November 2025 onwards, it will no longer be possible to switch support that would take effect on 1 January 2026. The new rules come into effect on 11 October 2025.
