Published: 28. 5. 2025 In category: News All news Known results of public auctions for the sale of electricity and purchase of TEŠ emission allowances for 2026 Today, Borzen, in cooperation with BSP, successfully conducted two public auctions for Termoelektrarna Šoštanj, d.o.o. In accordance with the provisions of the Act on Transitional Financing of the Accelerated and Fair Exit from Coal (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 109/2024 of 20 December 2024), public auctions for the sale of electricity produced at the Šoštanj Thermal Power Plant for the period from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026, and the purchase of emission allowances for TEŠ valid in the fourth period of the European Trading System (ETS) and delivered from 1 February 2026 to 31 January 2027 were held consecutively. The auction for electricity was attended by 9 companies, 6 domestic and 3 foreign, and the auction for emission allowances by 3 companies, of which 2 were domestic and 1 foreign.
