Published: 1. 10. 2019 In category: News All news Borut Rajer, Director of Operations at Borzen, re-elected as the member of the Europex Board During a regular meeting in Zadar (Croatia) on 27 September 2019, the Europex General Assembly held elections for the upcoming mandate, where Mr. Borut Rajer, Director of Operations at Borzen, was re-elected as the Europex Board member. The trust that has been placed in Mr. Rajer is certainly a result of his many years of successful professional work in the field of energy markets. Mr. Rajer thus continues in his role as the Europex Board member, which consists of four other members: Erling Thiis (Nord Pool), Jonas Törnquist (EPEX SPOT), Artur Trindade (OMIE, OMIP) and Piotr Zawistowski (TGE). According to Mr. Rajer, the association will continue to strive for a competitive, regulated and transparent European energy market. Europex is a not-for-profit association of European energy exchanges with 27 members. It represents the interests of exchange-based wholesale electricity, gas and environmental markets, focuses on developments of the European regulatory framework for wholesale energy trading and provides a discussion platform at European level. Borzen is one of the founding members of Europex, where it actively participates in the following areas: Work Group Environmental Markets, Work Group Financial Markets, Integrity and Transparency and Work Group Power Markets.
