Published: 15. 9. 2025 In category: News All news Upcoming Amendment to the Rules for the Operation of the Support Centre We would like to inform you that an amendment to the Rules for the Operation of the Support Centre dated 18 December 2024 (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 112/2024) is being prepared. The changes will primarily affect Article 10, which defines the conditions for switching the type of support within the support scheme for renewable energy sources (RES) and high-efficiency cogeneration (CHP). Summary of the changes: The amendment will align the process of switching from operational support to guaranteed purchase with the existing reverse process. Due to increased system risks and instability, beneficiaries will now be required to submit their intention to switch support by October of the current year, with the change taking effect on 1 January. The exact date when the amendment will take effect has not yet been determined. Once it is officially confirmed, we will notify all beneficiaries. The goal of the amendment is to enhance the stability of the ECO balance group, improve production forecasting, and reduce operational and financial risks.
