Borzen is partner at STREAM project

The STREAM project has officially started on the 1st of October 2022 and all 20 involved partners (industrial partners, universities, research associations, NGOs, municipality and SMEs) have met in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The Kick-Off meeting was hosted by project coordinator at their premises at Faculty of Electrical Engineering between 4th and 5thOctober. Project coordinator is University of Ljubljana, led by the Tomi Medved from Laboratory of Energy Policy.

The main aim of the STREAM project is the creation of an innovative and robust flexibility ecosystem on the low voltage (LV) grid side of existing power markets.

At the meeting, partners addressed and discussed their roles in the projects, what they hope to achieve, and, most importantly, proposed timelines and potential challenges that may arise during the project's early stages. The pilot sites in four different countries were presented: Slovenia, Finland, Spain, and Italy. The project's official logo and website were also highlighted.

Project partners are University of Ljubljana, IRI UL, ETRA I&D, Omi Polo Español, Borzen, cyberGRID, ELES, Kolektor sETup, ENERCOOP, Generacion de Energias Alternativas, Elektro Primorska, Teknologian Tutkimuskeskus VTT Oy, Engineering Ingegneria Informatica, Joanneum Research, Ideaz Storitve, ASM TERNI, Emotion, Voimatel Oy, OptiWatti Oy, AVANT CAR.
