Trading on the Platform for Balancing Energy is implemented through a platform for collecting purchase and sale bids for electricity through which the System Operator (ELES) buys and sells electricity intended for the settlement of imbalances in the electricity system. Trading on the platform for the balancing energy is carried out together with Intra-day trading, and further on, one hour/*half an hour after the closure of the Intra-day trading and until actual supply of the product. All companies included in the Balance Scheme of the electricity market and which acceded to trading on the Platform for the Balancing Energy and intra-day trading can participate in trading.

* It applies from 13 January 2026 for the delivery day of 14 January 2026.

Trading Schedule

Trading on the Platform for Balancing Energy is carried out 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and at most one day in advance. Trading with hourly, 15-minute, base-load and peak-load products is enabled.

15-minute, Hourly, Base-load and Peak-load Products

15-minute, hourly, base-load, and peak-load products are available for trading from 15:00 p.m. each day before the start of actual supply. Entry and concluding transactions with these products are possible up to the start of actual supply.

Implementation of Platform for Balancing Energy

In implementing the Platform for Balancing Energy, Borzen co-operates with the BSP SouthPool energy exchange, which offers a trading platform for the implementation of the Platform for balancing energy with all necessary functionalities.

Clearing and Financial Settlement of Transactions Concluded on the Platform for Balancing Energy

Clearing and Financial Settlement of claims and liabilities arising from the Platform for Balancing Energy is carried out by the Clearing Agent. Clearing Agent is liable for the fulfilment of financial liabilities for transactions concluded on the Platform for Balancing Energy in the scope of submitted and redeemable financial guarantees.

Si želiš postati del ustvarjalnega in zagnanega tima, katerega osnovni cilj je prizadevanje za pregledno in učinkovito delovanje trga z električno energijo?

Iščemo nekoga, ki bo:

  • sposoben sodelovanja ter tudi vodenja specifičnih zaokroženih procesov oziroma projektov v okviru službe za preglednost in nadzor trga ter ostalih procesov na področju delovanja podjetja,
  • samostojno izvajal naloge na področju razvoja, implementacije in nadzora nad delovanjem aplikacij vezanih na procese nadzora trga oziroma preglednosti,
  • skrbel za pripravo potrebne (strokovne) dokumentacije iz področja dela in njeno redno ažuriranje,
  • sodeloval s poslovnimi partnerji, zunanjimi svetovalci in pristojnimi institucijami,
  • spremljal trg z električno energijo in drugimi energenti ter povezanimi instrumenti doma in v tujini  ter spremljal področno regulativo, mednarodne standarde in priporočila s področja dela,  
  • po nalogu nadrejenega opravljal tudi dela, ki izhajajo iz procesov dela in druga dela, ki ustrezajo njegovi strokovni usposobljenosti.

Kaj pričakujemo:

  • visokošolska izobrazba druge stopnje in podobna izobrazba naravoslovnih, tehničnih in tehnoloških ved z najmanj 2 letoma delovnih izkušenj oziroma najmanj 3 leti izkušenj v primeru višješolske, višje strokovne in podobne izobrazbe ter visokošolske izobrazbe prve stopnje, visokošolske strokovne izobrazbe naravoslovnih, tehničnih in tehnoloških ved,
  • dobro poznavanje energetskega področja in trgov, s poudarkom na elektroenergetiki ter področjih delovanja podjetja,
  • dobro poznavanje aktualne zakonodaje s področja dela,
  • uporaba splošnih in specifičnih računalniških programov,
  • znanje angleškega jezika, najmanj stopnja B2.

Prednost imajo kandidati, ki:

  • z izkušnjami in znanjem na področju poslovne analitike,
  • je sodeloval, koordiniral ali vodil financirane slovenske ali EU projekte,
  • majo odlično poznavanje programa Excel in/ali BI orodji,
  • poznajo REMIT uredbo in povezane akte.
